Village Events for All Members
The Foggy Bottom West End Village is very proud of our diverse offerings of programs and events. The tireless work of our Program Committee allows us to put on hundreds of programs each year. These include major programs like our zoom interviews with Jose Andres, Scott Simon, or Colbert King, and a large series of zoom talks with artists in our Art Thursday series.
Perhaps most popular are our social events. Weekly coffee chats, periodic happy hours, lunches, our annual holiday party in December and the ice cream party in July are highlights for many members. The opportunity to gather with old friends and to make new friends is one of the keys to building our community.
We also put on many events to support the health and wellness of our members including presentations from physical therapists and information on recent developments in the health field. Programs on current events are popular with many members as are our exclusive tours of new exhibits at popular museums including the Phillips Collection and the GWU Textile Museum.
You can find many of our virtual programs on our thriving YouTube channel here.
You can find pictures of many of our events in the slideshow on this page.
We hope you’ll join us for a future program! Find upcoming events on our event calendar tab at the top of the page. Programs are open to all members regardless of membership type.
