Wondering how to celebrate America's 250th birthday? Join members of the Foggy Bottom West End Village for a tour of Early American Paintings to discover charming works by artists who had little or no formal training. If Winthrop Chandler, Joshua Johnson, and Robert Peckham aren't household names to you, now is your chance to explore new artists and enjoy their delightful works.
Meet National Gallery of Art docent Sheridan Strickland on 13 February at 12:30 in the Rotunda. She will be at the tour sign near the steps. You will recognize her by her name tag and hanging lanyard.
