Please join us for a fun and fascinating presentation by Rena Schild who will discuss her work in sports photography including what goes into making a good sports image. She will also tell the stories behind some of her images. After the talking portion of the program she will present a slide show of her images from a variety of sports ranging from children’s sports to pro events.  

Rena has been interested in photography since she received a film camera as a college graduation gift, but was sidelined by the practice of law until she had time to take some photography courses later in her career. She then began experimenting with many types of photography, including family portraits, events, red carpet, sports, fine art and most recently bird photography. Rena is currently happiest capturing athletes and birds in motion but thoroughly enjoys all photography.

NOTE: The West End Library’s large meeting room has a system that transmits a quality sound signal wirelessly to all functioning hearing aids in the meeting room.
