Meet at St. Paul’s Church at 10:00 a.m.

The Hillwood Estate, Museum and Gardens are a collective treasure for us living in the District that we often forget about because of its somewhat cloistered location.  To take advantage of this treasure, the Village has decided to sponsor a tour of the Estate for its members.

The tour will be self-guided, with members using the information and tour aides provided at the Visitor Center.  Hillwood states that the average visitor takes three hours for the tour.  The Village will plan on four hours (from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) to allow for the three hours plus an additional hour, perhaps for lunch at the Merriweather Café.

For more information about the Estate in preparation for a visit: hillwoodmuseum.org/visit

Hillwood is committed to ensuring their facilities, services, exhibitions, and programs are accessible and make reasonable accommodations to ensure visitor with disabilities have equal physical and communications access.

Cost:

(1)  Members of the Hillwood Estate are admitted free of cost. ($0)

(2)  All other Villagers are required to pay a reduced cost of their admission ticket ($10); the Village will pay the difference.

Please select the appropriate option when registering.

The Village will cover the cost of transportation from St. Paul’s Church to Hillwood and back.  A Village representative will distribute admission tickets on the day of the tour.

NOTE: Registration will close on Monday, May 12th, by which date the Village needs to purchase admission tickets.  If you have questions about the tour, contact Bob Haas at [email protected].
