The 2022 Midterm elections will be held on Tuesday, November 8. What are the usual outcomes of midterms? Will this year be different? What are the issues? Is democracy’s future on the ballot? Ukraine? Is the overturn of Roe on the ballot? What is at stake for the US Senate? the US House of Representatives? What key governorships are up for election? What about state legislatures? Secretaries of state and other state offices that have a role in running elections and determining results?
The discussion will be led by Bill Kincaid and Sue Headlee. They plan to hold another current events discussion after the results of the Midterm elections are confirmed. Note that it was six years ago that the FBWE Village Current Events Discussion began.
